CSL International is announcing immediate availability of CSL-WAVE 1.4.0 - Its best-of-breed Simplification, Automation and Provisioning Management Solution for z/Linux virtual server farms running under z/VM.
The new version contains many improvements, more functionality, major performance enhancements and much more:

1. Straight forward, simple and extremely fast installation – As little as 10 minutes to complete the process.  This is mostly noted with CSL-WAVE’s vastly improved auto-detect process, reducing the installation time and complexity.
2. Major performance enhancements – New and exciting architecture implementation lead to significant performance improvements in most of the central components of the system.
   E.g. Improved cloning process – Lightning fast, bullet proof parallel cloning, foreground initiated then becomes workstation independent.
3. System Status Monitoring - Customizable trend graphs for CPU, Paging, Page-Datasets and Spool-Space utilization, with management abilities to add/start/drain/remove page/spool disks dynamically.
4. Global Attention Required – Lists alerts for all anomalies, throughout all managed z/VM Systems in a central CSL-WAVE global view.
5. Intelligent Active-Notes (IANs) feature – Attachment of “Post-It”-like notes to any managed object.  The IANs are integrated with CSL-WAVE’s CAAP Technology 
   (Context Aware Action Prevention Technology). This technology will alert users of an action attempted on an object with IANs that reference that specific action.
6. Higher maintenance level for all components.
